How It Works & What’s Included
Initial Consultation: Whether in-person, virtually, or over the phone, we will go over your pre-pregnancy cycle history and uterine and vaginal health. You will receive a personalized steam plan that includes suggested herb blend(s), as well as in-depth instruction on how to set your steaming sessions up, and general postpartum recovery recommendations. As with most things birth/postpartum-related, it’s best to plan ahead and set-up the initial consultation prior to giving birth, but can be done postpartum in a pinch. The consultation will last approximately 1-hour. Additional prenatal visits are welcomed, but will be charged at my standard hourly rate.
After Baby Arrives: This mandatory follow-up is to be completed within the first 24- to 48-hours after giving birth, and can conveniently be done over the phone. It gives us a chance to confirm your personalized steam plan, herbs, and steaming set-up based on the circumstances of the birth and state of your body postpartum. We’ll also take this opportunity to schedule the equipment drop-off and initial steaming session.
Equipment Drop-Off & Initial Steaming Session: During a pre-scheduled appointment, I’ll drop-off the necessary steaming equipment and your herbs, and conduct your first steaming session. Postpartum life is exhausting, so I’ll get everything set-up for you to streamline your next few weeks of solo steaming.
Daily Check-ins: Mini, daily check-ins will be conducted by phone/text to make sure you’re responding well to your steam plan early on.
Weekly Check-ins: Once a week, we’ll have a more in-depth check-in either in-person, or virtually to evaluate how you’re responding to the current steam plan and whether or not any adjustments need to be made. These check-is will last a maximum of 30-minutes.
What’s Included: The 30-day rental of steaming equipment rental that includes 1 steaming sauna, 1 induction burner, and 1 stainless steel pot.
